The intention behind this is to try and not snack on any foods or drinks that could add to the amount of fat you consume. Plus maintaining proper hydration will keep your levels of energy where they need to be. Try replacing beverages that contain caffeine with water then have a look at your energy levels. If you've got more energy your exercise will be a lot more productive.

You will often see bodybuilders eating more smaller meals during a normal day rather than the usual three meals. Even for those who aren't bodybuilders it's a good approach. There are many different approaches to try so there's flexibility. The main reason for using this method is that the smaller meals will keep your digestive system working. Many calories will be burnt off by the digestive process as digesting food will use calories. And smaller meals will cause your stomach to shrink. Of course, a smaller stomach means that you'll consume less food. There are many flexible approaches if you want to burn fat and not your muscles. This is very good as it means there's variation and choice when trying to complete your goal.
